Sophie works closely with our team to accross the Foundation’s projects, partnerships and communications, with a special focus on the story-telling aspects of our work.
Joining us from a career in media and environment communication, she worked for Ocean conservation CIC eXXpedition, alongside studying for an MSc in Sustainable Development. Her research focused on Arctic shipping – mitigating the impact of vessel traffic and underwater radiated noise on marine life.
Sophie has worked on expeditions and assignments worldwide, in 2019 sailing to Arctic Norway to document whale research. Her photography has been published by National Geographic, The Times, The Guardian, Oceanographic, WWF Arctic and shortlisted by the Royal Academy.
